After the trophy season in early spring, that water temperature starts to rise and the walleye bite for the “eater” size fish starts to take off. Walleye are considered to be the best white meat fish around, often compared to halibut! During the “eater” season we see lots of action. With no limit we see some days with big numbers of fish and non stop action. This is the time of the walleye season to stock up and fill the freezer with our favorite fish to eat. During this time of year we fish for them around Kennewick Pasco and Richland in the Tri Cities as well as Umatilla in Oregon. Columbia River Walleye fishing is some of the most fun of the summer!
