Plughoff Outfitters is based in the heart of the Tri-Cities — Pasco, Kennewick, and Richland — providing professionally guided fishing trips throughout the Columbia River system, Snake River, Hanford Reach, Astoria, and some of the most productive fisheries in the Pacific Northwest.

We specialize in guided walleye, king salmon, coho salmon, sockeye salmon across Eastern Washington. Our goal is simple: put clients on unforgettable fisheries while delivering a laid-back, hardworking, and professional experience on the water.

The Columbia Basin is home to what many consider the best trophy walleye fishery in the United States. Every season gives anglers a legitimate opportunity at landing a fish of a lifetime — and potentially even the next state or world record right here in Eastern Washington.

Owner and operator John Plughoff is fully licensed and insured in both Washington and Oregon and is a United States Coast Guard licensed captain. Spending more than 150 days each year on the water, Plughoff Outfitters is built around experience, consistency, scouting, and understanding the ever-changing conditions of the Columbia River system.

In 2020, Plughoff Outfitters won the King of the Reach Salmon Derby on the Hanford Reach — a reflection of the time, preparation, and dedication we put into staying dialed throughout the salmon season.
